This reminded me of the most recent failure of a campus alert system where a fake gunman held a class hostage and was taken down by the SWAT team. I'm trying to imagine "not getting the memo" on that and having someone invade my class.

I've tried unsuccessfully to sign up for our alert system three times. From the looks of it, we have the same system you do, under different branding.
