We are slowly rolling out new features to make interaction with this blog easier and more transparent. One way to interact with the blog is by recommending posts to other readers. The first thing you may notice is the new sidebar widget titled “Get social” (below).

social

Login widget (use your Google, Yahoo, AIM, Netlog or Open ID credentials)

When you click “Join this site” you can login using your existing Google, Yahoo, AIM, or OpenID credentials:

After you log in, you can start recommending stories to other readers by first clicking a post and then scrolling to the bottom.  There you will see a new option to “Recommend it to other readers”:

New recommend button at the bottom of each post page

These recommended stories get displayed below the login box on the sidebar in order of recommendations.  Power to the people!:

We plan on adding additional interactive features (including logging in and commenting using Facebook credentials; but that’s harder to implement right now). Hope you enjoy reading (and interacting!)
