Submit Your Automation Research for the 2014 Human Factors Prize and Win $10,000!
The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society welcomes your submission for the 2014 Human Factors Prize for Excellence in Human Factors/Ergonomics Research. The Prize confers a $10,000 cash award and publication of the winning paper in the Society’s flagship journal Human Factors. The winner will also present the paper in a special award ceremony at the HFES 2014 Annual Meeting in Chicago.
The topic for the 2014 Prize is human-automation interaction/autonomy. We seek articles that describe human factors/ergonomics (HF/E) research that pertains to effective and satisfying interaction between humans and automation.
Suitable sample topics include:
- research on human trust in automation and how trust affects interactions
- how team interactions are affected by automation
- models of effective human-automation interaction/autonomy
